Welcome all newcomers and faithful readers!
I think I'm less frazzled than last month! LOL - Sorry about all the craziness
with the last newsletter. Hope you all got a giggle over my mistakes.
I finally was able to laugh it off or I'd have really lost it. :-)
Hope you are all well and safe considering how nature dealt some serious wallops
last month. Was anyone blown around by Ike and his friends? How'd you fare?
Please let us know you're OK! And please remember to stay positive and focus on
what you do want, rather than focusing on fear in these shaky economic times.
The collective energy of fear will not help us move past this challenge.
Collective positive energy is powerful stuff. Please help by adding your share
to the universe. :-)
Are you all in Halloween mode yet? This is a very special holiday for our kids
and one that gets them motivated to party. Give them their best Halloween ever.

Life is starting to get fun! :-) Enjoy and have a great October!

Tip or Trick of the Month: Shoe Odor Control
I never would have believed that this tip works if I hadn't tried it. It's just
great, if a little weird.
If your kids wear their shoes without socks, they are going to eventually create
an odor that will tear your face off if you get too close to them. Sure, you can
toss their athletic shoes in the washing machine but what about those UGG boots
your daughter insisted on wearing without socks? Arghhhhh - Wrap those stinky
shoes or boots in a plastic grocery bag and stick them in the freezer overnight.
The odor will disappear!
Want to know why this works? ... bacteria dies when it freezes and odor from
shoes is caused by bacteria. :-)

Time Waster of the Month:
Puzzle Inlay
(Because life is supposed to be fun!)
This one is an addiction and one of the best new online games I've found in a
long time. Have you wondered why I give you the most addictive games right
before the holidays? Heh heh heh ... it's to make sure you unwind a little so
holiday stress doesn't make you too nuts. ;-)
To play Puzzle Inlay, set tile pieces into the puzzle frame to make a pretty
mosaic as you try to beat the conveyor belt adding more and more pieces. Along
the way, you'll gather useful tools that can either fill in a missing piece or
hammer away a useless piece.
One tip I can offer: Try not to use the small yellow triangle pieces until you
absolutely have to and try to fit the bigger pieces together without leaving
yourself too many small gaps. Have fun!
Feed the kids first ...

Featured Site of the Month:
Do You Believe?
This is a brilliantly delivered speech from a 10 year-old child about believing
in our children. Please believe in your children and help them understand that
anything is, indeed, possible. This will blow you away! :-)
