Welcome all newcomers and faithful readers!
I'm sending this newsletter a few days early as I'll be traveling to visit my
youngest baby for her birthday on February 1 and I haven't yet figured out how
to send newsletters at a future date. Doubt I ever will. LOL
Hope everyone had a great January. There is so much going on in the first few
months of the year! Not the least of which is excitement for change and the
potential.
And we're coming up on Valentine's Day! Besides your sweetie, treat your kids to
something special. Send them flowers or an email Valentine. They'll love it!
While you're at it, how about sending flowers or an email Valentine to your
parents. They would be so thrilled to know that you're thinking of them with
love. Our parenting topic this month features an amazing tribute to parents that
I guarantee will make you want to honor your parents this Valentine's Day. :-)

Yes, you have to send Valentine's Day flowers to your loved ones! :-) Some guys
love to poo poo this holiday but it's really self-defeating to ignore your
sweetie on Valentine's Day. Even if you feel it's a forced act, flowers for your
honey on Valentine's Day is vital to keep your relationship thriving. Ladies,
send flowers to your guy. He'll love it and be flattered silly. And think about
how thrilled your kids would be to receive flowers for Valentine's Day. Train

Get a tissue and turn your speakers on. Parent's Wish is a touching and
beautiful slide show presentation that will make you cry with it's poignant (I
SO dislike that word but it works LOL) request for compassion and understanding
from our kids as we grow older.
I have a theory about movies or video presentations that touch our hearts enough
to make us cry: it's the music! This would be heart wrenching prose even without
the beautiful song "You Lift Me Up" but the music is what ultimately drags
emotion from our core.
