Welcome all newcomers and faithful readers!
Did your kids have a fun Halloween? What costumes did they wear? We would love
to hear your stories! They might help distract us from the upcoming holidays and
what I call the "Christmas Crazies." :-) - I absolutely love Christmas, just
need to pace myself to get through them in one piece. LOL - I've started my
Christmas shopping already
which helps. Meanwhile, we have Thanksgiving to pull off before Christmas hits -
best get busy planning and preparing. My Thanksgiving page will help:
Rexanne's Thanksgiving
Now do yourself a favor and get a head start on Christmas:
Rexanne's Christmas
Be sure to check out the new Christmas Tree Toppers page for some really cool
tree toppers: Christmas
Tree Toppers page. Some really cool toppers on there!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving my U.S. readers. Feast and give thanks for all
your blessings. Even if life is difficult at times, you have plenty to be
thankful for. Focus on what you've got and cherish all of it. I am, as always,
thankful for every one of you!

"I found your site while searching for a True Blood T-shirt and was a little
surprised (although delighted!) to also find excellent parenting advice that
came in handy with a problem I was having with my son. How did you decide to
combine True Blood and parenting advice on one web site?"
HA HA Julian ... I didn't set out to combine them, it just kind of happened.
When I become obsessed with a movie, book or TV show, I'll make a "specialty
store" for it to share with my visitors. Keeps me feeling productive while
feeding my obsession. :-) I'm happy you stumbled onto my site and found more
than what you were looking for!

Capture the Magic
Ready to capture the magic of Santa Claus for your children this holiday season?
This new site will allow you to include a picture of Santa in your home,

exciting!
All you have to do is upload a picture of your living room or any other room you
prefer and Capture the Magic will embed Santa
into the photograph. Your child will be in awe seeing Santa in his/her home and
you will have a most cherished keepsake. I love this site!

Parenting & Family Topic of the Month:
Croup
Croup is a nasty virus that strikes little children up to age six. You will know
your child has croup when you hear an unlikely, intense bark instead of a
regular cough. Croup is
a virus, just like a cold or flu virus and there is no antibiotic or medicine
that will "cure" this condition, just lots of TLC, calm and soothing attention
and lots of moisture in the air. Read more about croup online:

Cleatskins
Cover those carpet shredding, floor scratching and dirty cleats today.
At a business event this past weekend I was introduced to this amazing new
product,
Cleatskins. This is one of the best inventions since the Internet!
Cleatskins
cover men's, women's and kid's cleats with a pliable rubber skin. They come in a
variety of colors and will keep the dirt on the field, where it belongs and make
it easy for a cleat-wearing kid to walk on any surface without removing his/her
cleats. They also protect the cleats! You'll wonder how you lived without
Cleatskins
before.
Cleatskins make cool stocking stuffers and Christmas gifts!

Time Waster of the Month:
Pass or Perish
(Because life is supposed to be fun!)
Ready for some football? I had more fun playing this game than most kids would
probably have. LOL The object is to pass the football to your team members (in
green jerseys), gaining 100 yards each round and avoiding interceptions (those
other guys are sneaky!) and turn overs. Have fun!
Feed the kids first ...
