Welcome All Newcomers!
From now on, Rexanne's Web Review will be arriving in your inbox twice. Please do not be alarmed! ;-) There is yet another problem
delivering to certain ISPs, AOL specifically. The second mailing will only contain the link to read the newsletter online. Please bear with
me. One of these days, I'll be able to afford to send this newsletter out via a paid service which should eliminate these issues. *sigh*
It's always something ...
Mother's Day is May 11, a mere ten days away. Pamper Mom this year. She deserves it! To keep you on your WWW MDAY toes, check out my
Mother's Day site with all the goodies you can use: Rexanne's Mother's
Day
My best wishes to all you wonderful women who have earned the title "Mom." You are miracle workers, the very best type of human and you've
worked hard. Pat yourselves on the back! :-)

Here are a few letters the Easter Bunny received this year. They are just too cute:

Kaitlin wrote:
"Dear EASTER BUNNY, The note I'am going to send you is on my DADDYS desk. Well got to go. LOVE, Kaitlin

And Jesse wrote:
"Dear Easter Bunny, Thank you for the basket and the Peeps. They are my favorites!"

become people who feel more deeply, question more deeply, hurt more deeply and love more deeply.

Parenting & Family Topic of the Month: My Hands Were Busy
This is a beautiful poem, reflecting what we all need to understand about mothering and parenthood:
My Hands Were Busy
Author Unknown
My hands were busy through the day.
I didn't have much time to play
the little games you asked me to ...
I didn't have much time for you.
I'd wash your clothes, I'd sew and cook,
but when you'd bring your picture book
and ask me please to share your fun,
I'd say, "A little later, son."
I'd tuck you in all safe at night,
hear your prayers, turn out the light.
Then tiptoe softly to the door ...
I wish I'd stayed a minute more.
For life is short, and years rush past.
A little child grows up so fast.
No longer are they at your side,
their precious secrets to confide.
The picture books are put away,
there are no children's games to play.
No goodnight kiss, no thoughts to hear.
That all belongs to yesteryear.
My hands, once busy, now lie still.
The days are long and hard to fill.
I wish I might go back and do
the little things you asked me to.

Tip or Trick of the Month: Winter Coat Storage & Clean Mushrooms
---
To prevent moth damage and to add a spicy, pleasant aroma to your winter clothes, put whole cloves in the pockets of woolen coats or in
bags with sweaters when storing for the off-season.
---
Fill a strong plastic bag of mushrooms with clear water. Hold the bag closed and shake. Pour out the dirty water and redo if the mushrooms
are really dirty. Mushrooms will come out clean and white, without damage.
