Rexanne's Valentine - Everything for Valentine's Day on the Web!

This is an especially momentous time for our family. My younger daughter was due to arrive in this world on Valentine’s Day, 1994. As it turned out, she made her entrance two weeks early and two weeks after the big L.A. earthquake in which we lost all our ‘finer’ things, our furniture and our laiser faire attitude about earthquakes!

Her birthday is the first of February, with Valentine’s Day celebrated as her due date. Yes, we have energy left to do Valentine’s Day. It’s just a little more subdued is all.

If you have a ‘new love’ going on in your home, try to deal with it graciously. :-) Kids are gonna grow up and have relationships. It’s a scary thought but it will happen. Reality is what it is ... an OMG moment but a lot of fun if you just go with it. (Tried telling this to my children's father ... he ain't buying. He wants to shoot any boy who looks twice at our daughters. LOL!) If you're the one involved in a new relationship, relax, have fun and enjoy it!

I wish you all a happy and loving day. Try to add a drop of sugar to all you do and have a blast filling out Valentine cards with your kids and reading the ones they bring home.
