I love Christmas! The malls are screaming for me, everyone's faces are brighter, they smile a little easier and their steps become springier thanks to the joy in the atmosphere.

I adore the traditions of the holiday ... having my family gathered around (the ones who are speaking to each other!), the cooking, feasting, Santa toilet paper decorating the bathrooms ... and I am positively crazy about the lust in my kid's eyes over all the presents under the tree and bulging from their stockings. I tend to over-buy for my girls. It's not a good thing, I assure you. I realize I'm spoiling them for their husbands later in life but I can't help myself. They're good kids. They deserve rewards ... I rationalize ... ;-)

I wish you the very best holiday season. Hope you share the holidays with lots of family and friends. While you're shopping for everyone else, buy a little something you love, just for you. Go ahead ... loving yourself is a good thing. Keeps the cells in your body thriving!

City sidewalk, busy sidewalks
dressed in holiday style.
In the air there's
a feeling of Christmas.

Children laughing, people passing,
meeting smile after smile,
and on every street corner you'll hear:

Silver bells, silver bells,
it's Christmas time in the city.
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring,
soon it will be Christmas day.

City street lights,
even stop lights,
blink a bright red and green,
as the shoppers rush home
with their treasures.

Hear the snow crunch,
see the kids bunch,
this is Santa's big scene,
and above all this bustle you'll hear:

Silver bells, silver bells,
it's Christmas time in the city.
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring,
soon it will be Christmas day.
